Airport personnel save elderly man suffering from cardiac arrest in east India

A prompt response by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel saved an elderly passenger from cardiac arrest at an airport in the east Indian state of Jharkhand.

The incident occurred on February 14, at 11.30 am, in the Birsa Munda aiport of Ranchi city.

CCTV footage shows an elderly man pushing his luggage until he collapses on the floor and security personnel come running to help, performing CPR until he was revived.

Later, the old man was transported to the nearby Santevita hospital in an ambulance where his condition is said to be stable.

The passenger was on his way to board an Indigo flight from Ranchi to Patna.
