Sportsmen's and Outdoor Recreation show kicks off today at the Expo

The event lasts Friday through Sunday and features just about everything you could possibly imagine for outdoor activities.

Hearing has newswatch 12's alicia rubin is live at the jackson county expo as they prepare for a busy weekend.

The doors open at noon.

Tickets at the door are going to be 8 dollars for adults, 1 dollar for kids ages 6 to 12 and free for kids 5 and younger.

Don't forget too, there's a 2-dollar-off coupon available at bi-mart so pick that up before you come out and save some money -- that coupon is only valid for today and sunday.

This is the 20th year for the show and it's packed with hundreds of exhibits, displays and attractions.

If you like to do anything outdoors this is the place for you to be this weekend.

There are things here for boating, fishing, hunting, camping, rv-ing, atv-ing, cycling, kayaking -- there's even travel agents and tour guides to help you book your next vacation.

This is a weekend event for the whole family to come and enjoy.
