New rules issued by Illinois Governor JB Pritzker could penalize businesses, schools, and childcare facilities with a Class A Misdemeanor

In many ways, these workers are serving at the forefront of public health mitigation efforts in encouraging social distancing and using face coverings.

Business owners though--facing their own challenges.

The governor-- sharing they could be fined or even criminally charged--for not holding shoppers accountable.

But from coast to coast--those in charge of the customer experience say-- managing others' behavior--is no easy task.

Pritzker also introduced stricter mask mandate guidelines for - schools - and child care centers.

As the governor-- barnstorms across the land of lincoln--and drops in on downtowns.

Trying to encourage cooperation.

Not only have a traveled the state encouraging people to wear face masks, but we've launched a public awareness campaign designed to change the behavior of those who haven't yet started wearing face coverings.

Also today - he signed legislation that would protect anyone working on the front lines locking in paid disability leave for anyone impacted by cod-19.
