Coronavirus numbers by county: Aug. 26, 2020

Updated coronavirus statistics in Oneida, Herkimer and Otsego counties.

Overall... that pushes the active total to 15 and one person is hospitalized.

In oneida county..there are two potential exposures...they were at the same place on two different days... both dates were at the hannaford on mohawk street in utica.

We're told it was an employee the shift was on august 17th from 6:45am to 3:15pm the on august 18th from 9am to 5:30pm in both cases the employee was wearing a mask.

As for the latest numbers...oneida county announced there is one new death to report.

A total of five new cases...there are now 80 active in the county.

8 patients are hospitalized, two are nursing home residents receiving acute care.

In herkimer county, there are four new cases...10 active in the county.

Two people are in the hospital.
