A 20-foot-long python was rescued from an estate in southern India's Karnataka, after being spotted by locals.

The incident took place in Kurchi village on September 6.

Video footage of the rescue shows the MASSIVE python lifted from the field into a gunny sack by a group of men.

The reptile was later released into a nearby forest area.
