This week at the fort wayne city council meeting all nine city council members agreed to at least look into what is going on with the decision to terminate the economic development agreement for electric works.fox 55's jentill neal talked to the city spokesperson and one of the councilmen about the possibility of an investigation moving forward.

Jentill?hunter, the councilmen are asking for more transparency on who made the final decision on the termination of the economic agreement putting a halt on one of the city's biggest developments.

After gaining the support of numerous boards, commissions, and business leaders... the reasoning behind termination of the economic development agreement has council members scratching their heads.> 16:13:13-16:13:33"if the administration was not in liking of rtm, why didn't they discontinue the process 2 years ago when they were basically pleading the case that this is a really great project.

We want to work together because in order for our community to move forward together successfully.

We're going to need to have open dialogue, trust and communication between all entities to get this where we all want it to be."

We asked councilman didier if he thought a new developer was necessary.

He said no, but maybe some extra assistance could help.city council will vote on if an investigation will move forward on tuesday.
