Toddler dies after early morning house fire on Chancery Place

A toddler who was injured in an early morning house fire on the southwest side of Fort Wayne Thursday has died, according to the Allen County Coroner's Office.

A young fort wayne girl dies after her family was pulled from a house fire.that fire happened yesterday morning on chancery place.the allen county coroner says fort wayne firefighters got 2-year-old hazel deford, her mom and two siblings out of the house.

Deford was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.the coroner says the autopsy has been completed and the cause and manner of death are pending.
