Cops stop Boston Water and Sewer Commission truck thief
Cops chase a 48-year-old man on the motorway for stealing a water truck before the vehicle hits a tyre-deflation device and officers detain the driver on the tarmac.The incident was filmed in the town of Westport in the county of Bristol in the US state of Massachusetts at around 12.20pm on 2nd October.A 48-year-old man will face charges after he allegedly stole a truck owned by the Boston Water and Sewer Commission before being chased by Massachusetts state cops.The Massachusetts State Police said: “Boston Police broadcast a description of a stolen water tank truck owned by the Boston Water and Sewer Commission, and at approximately 12.20pm, BPD advised that onboard GPS indicated that the stolen truck was travelling on Route 495 southbound in Wrentham.“Massachusetts State Police Troop H Communications then determined that the truck was on 495 in Franklin.
Moments later, MSP Troopers located the truck, a 2008 International 400SER, and attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop.“The suspect operating the truck refused to stop, and Troop H Headquarters authorised a pursuit and assumed command and control.
