Delhi continues to witness 'poor' air quality

As winter approaches, the air quality of national capital once again started to deteriorate.

Air quality deteriorates in Delhi with rise of pollutants in the atmosphere.

Air Quality Index (AQI) is at 275 in Anand Vihar, at 263 in Rohini, at 275 in ITO and 229 in Nehru Nagar; all four in 'poor' category, according to Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) data.

Delhi residents raised concerns.

Delhi Government has launched a campaign 'Yudh Pradushan ke Virudh' to combat the problem of air pollution.

Speaking to ANI, a local Shruti said, "It is dangerous for the people and we are doing cycling on regular basis but now feeling air pollution." "We should stop stubble burning and vehicle usage which spreads pollution in large quantity," she added.

Another local added, "I felt irritation in my eyes when I went out for morning walk and also faced breathing problems."
