Watch: Heavy rains trigger waterlogging in Hyderabad, IMD issues warning

Heavy showers battered several parts of Hyderabad on Saturday night.

The downpour was witnessed in Nampally, Abids, Kothi, Basheerbagh, among other places.

Rains led to waterlogging in parts of the state capital, including Falaknuma bridge.

A 6-year-old kid died after wall collapsed at Turkapet under Mangalhat police limit.

Heavy flooding was also witnessed in Chandrayangutta area of Hyderabad.

Earlier, eight members of a family had been washed away in the floods.

Rescue operations were carried out to provide relief to distressed people.

Authorities have urged people to move to the first floor of their buildings.

The Met department has issued a weather warning across Telangana.
