50 injured during 'Banni' festival celebrations in AP's Kurnool
People gathered in large numbers, to celebrate Banni festival in Devaragattu village of Kurnool district despite imposition of Section 144 in the area.
As part of the festival, people fight with sticks to get hold of ceremonial idols of local deities.
At least 50 persons were injured during the festival.
