FDA Gives Green Light For At Home Covid-19 Test Kit

The US Food and Drug Administration has granted an emergency use authorization for an at-home Covid-19 test ki.

The kit will be available as an over-the-counter item, and not require a prescription to purchase it.

The LabCorp Pixel COVID-19 Test Home Collection Kit will be available to anyone 18 and older.

According to CNN, the kit uses nasal swab s to collect samples for testing.

The samples are then sent to a LabCorp facility for testing.

Positive or invalid results are delivered back to the consumer by phone or through a healthcare provider.
