DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Carl Vinson VA Medical center in Dublin, began COVID-19 vaccinations.
The Medical Center received their first batch of vaccines on Tuesday.
In macon -- especially young males -- development the soft skills and training needed to qualify for new jobs.

The dublin v-a medical center receieved the first batch of vaccines tuesday.
They're just one of one hundred and thirteen va medical centers across the country to get the limited supply.
"if we want to really stop this pandemic in its tracks it's mandatory that we vaccinate as many people as possible."
Orania chief of geriatrics and extended care at the center was the first to recieve the vaccine.
Says she feels proud and honored -- but most importantly -- wants to help educate others who take the vaccine.
"we know that we are going to continue to need to wear our masks wash our hands and watch our distance.
But we see that people are enrolling in big numbers."
David whitmer, the medical center director, explains how the vaccine will be distributed throughout the facility.
"the va's been working closely with the cdc and other federal partners to develope a phased plan, and under this plan we offer the vaccine to two groups first.
First that's veterans who are livingin our long term care facility, our community living centers and then to va health care personel " the director says he's grateful to receive the vaccine.
"we're excited to deliver this great gift that's been given to us by science."
