Britain's Johnson visits hospital as Oxford vaccine rollout begins
Britain began vaccinating its population with Oxford University and AstraZeneca's COVID-19 shot on Monday in a world first, racing to give protection to the elderly and vulnerable as a new surge of cases threatened to overwhelm hospitals.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting and NHS chief executive Amanda Pritchard visit the headquarters of the London Ambulance Service. Mr Streeting insists the government has “hit the ground running” since taking office and “prepared the best we can for this winter” while acknowledging the challenges with flu, Covid and norovirus. Eva Longoria has revealed that she and her family have moved out of the United States. In a new interview with publication Marie Claire, Longoria said of the U.S., "I had my whole adult life here. But even before [the pandemic], it was changing. The vibe was different. And then COVID happened, and it pushed it over the edge. Whether it's the homelessness or the taxes, not that I want to s*** on California — it just feels like this chapter in my life is done now."

Northeast Wisconsin vaccine clinics say they aren't receiving enough supply to meet the demand. According to the Wisconsin Hospital Association, the state is only taking in around 70,000 doses a week.
