Migratory birds responsible for flu spread: Giriraj Singh

Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Giriraj Singh said that migratory birds which came to India in winter season is responsible for the spread of bird flu in the country.

He also said that the virus is not active in cooked food.

Several birds of five states have been affected from bird flu, with the respective governments going for culling of ducklings to contain the spread.
