Pune security guard turns entrepreneur
A 28-year-old security guard in Maharashtra's Pune used his time during lockdown for better career prospects.
Revan Shinde became businessman after losing his job in December 2019.
Hailing from Pimpri-Chinchwad area of Pune, Revan used to work with a company as security guard.
He now owns a food outlet 'Cafe 18'.
On a daily basis, Revan sells around 600-700 cups of tea.
Revan along with his team clocks profit of Rs 50,000- 60,000 monthly.
Speaking to ANI, Revan Shinde said, "After norms relaxed and offices reopened, people found it difficult to get tea." "We decided to deliver tea and coffee for free to see the response.
Now, we sell around 600-700 cups of tea daily," he added.
