Racial abuse cases should be dealt with iron fist: Ashwin

During a match at Sydney, racial slurs were hurled at Indian cricketers.

India's right arm off break bowler, Ravichandran Ashwin during a press conference said that such incidents should be dealt with iron fist.

Ashwin further said that crowd sitting in the lower tier of the stadium have hurled abuses and have been nasty.

Ashwins said, "We've had a few experiences in the past here in Sydney and even one or two time the players have also responded.

Crowd in the lower tier of the stadium have hurled abuses and they have been nasty.

But this is the time they have gone one step ahead and used racial abuses.

We have lodged a complaint this time.

It is definitely not acceptable in this day and age and must be dealt with an iron fist."
