Around 3 lakh healthcare workers will be administered vaccine shots across India on the first day of the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive which is set to begin from January 16.

The National Commission For Protection of Child Rights issued notice to former Madhya Pradesh minister and Congress legislator Sajjan Singh Verma over his comments on minor girls on Wednesday.

The animal husbandry unit of the Delhi government has said they have not found any evidence of bird flu at the Ghazipur poultry unit.
