Centre, farmers hold 9th round of talks over farm laws

Farmers' protest against the farm laws entered 51st Day on January 15.

Amid continuous deadlock between farmers' union and Central Govt, 9th round of dialogue began today.

The meeting is underway at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.

Several inconclusive talks had happened between farmers and Centre in the past.

Farmers firmly demand to scrap the new farm laws while Centre suggests amendment.

On January 12, SC had put a stay on implementation of the new farm laws.
