Singer Daler Mehndi, who is out with his song Ishq Nachave, revealed that the music video of Tunak Tunak Tun was the result of a blow to his ego.
After a fallout with the media and comment that his music videos were successful only because of their βglamourβ and beautiful women, he was hurt and decided that his next video would feature only him.
This led to the release of Tunak Tunak Tun in 1998, which featured five Daler Mehndis!
