One of the two pilots injured in the chopper crash succumbed to injuries.

Speaking to media, Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, OP Bhagat said, "Indian Army's Dhruv chopper crashed in Lakhanpur area of Kathua at about 07:15 pm today (January 25)." "Two pilots of the chopper were reportedly injured and are being treated in a hospital," he added.
According to PRO Defence of Jammu, one of the two pilots injured in the chopper crash in Kathua succumbed to injuries today.
Indian Army airlift bodies of the soldiers killed after their convoy was attacked by terrorists in the Machedi area of Kathua district in J&K yesterday. Post-mortem of the bodies will be done in Sub District Hospital Billawar.

According to initial reports, the terrorists fired upon the vehicle, prompting a swift retaliation from the soldiers, which led to an intense encounter. Additional reinforcements have been rushed to the area to bolster security efforts. This attack comes just a day after security forces successfully neutralized six terrorists in twin encounters in Kulgam. "The bodies of two terrorists were recovered from the Modergam encounter site, while four bodies were recovered from the Chinnigam site on Sunday," officials informed PTI.
