We're on verge of defeating COVID by adopting proactive, collaborative strategies: Harsh Vardhan
While addressing at the 148th session of WHOExecutive Board meeting on January 26, the Health and Family Welfare Minister of India, Dr Harsh Vardhan said, "I thank the member nations that despite the wide disparity in their epidemiological trends, we are on verge of defeating pandemic by adopting a pre-emptive, proactive and collaborative strategies."
On his first day back in office, President Donald Trump initiated the process of withdrawing the US from the World Health Organization (WHO), citing financial disparities and national priorities.
