India-China standoff: Additional forces deployed at LAC for India's sovereignty, says President

President Ram Nath Kovind paid his condolences to the slain soldiers who made supreme sacrifice at Galwan Valley in June 2020.

The President informed that Indian Government deployed additional forces at Line of Actual Control for the protection of the India's sovereignty.

President Kovind was addressing the joint parliamentary session on January 29.

"20 jawans made the supreme sacrifice at Galwan Valley in June 2020.

Every citizen is grateful to these martyrs.

My Govt is committed to the protection of the interests of the nation.

Extra Forces have been deployed at LAC for protection of India's sovereignty," said President Kovind.
