Farmers' unions announce nationwide roadblock protest on Feb 06

Farmers' unions on February 01 announced nationwide protest for February 06, adding that roads will be blocked between 12 pm and 3 pm.

"There will be a country-wide agitation on February 6; we will block roads between 12 pm and 3 pm," said Gurnam Chaduni, farmer leader while addressing the media at Singhu border.

Farmers' protest entered 68th day on February 01, and has also experienced bloodshed when their tractor rally on Republic Day gone haywire and a section of the protestors turned violent, and raided the Red Fort where the violent agitators hoisted religious flags.
