Chennai air custom department has seized 2.32 kg of gold from two passengers.

1.16 kg of gold recovered from Dubai flight and 1.16 kg of gold from another passenger returning to Chennai from Guwahati.

The market value of seized gold is approx Rs 1.14 crore.

Both the persons have been arrested.
