Chamoli disaster: Rescue teams to hold meeting to discuss further plan of action

As rescue operations continued in disaster-hit Chamoli district, a meeting of all agencies including senior officials of ITBP, NDRF, Army and local administration to be held on February 10.

This meeting is being held to discuss the further course of action.

Joint team of ITBP, NDRF, SDRF and other agencies entered into the Tapovan tunnel on the morning of February 10.

The tunnel is still approachable up to about 120 meters.

More slush and water coming from the other end of the tunnel has made the way ahead difficult.
