Pulwama anniversary: CRPF pays floral tributes to 40 jawans in JandK's Lethpora
On the second anniversary of Pulwama terror attack, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) paid floral tributes to the 40 jawans in Lethpora on February 14.
Several officers were present to pay homage to their slain soldiers.
The attack on the CRPF convoy took place in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on February 14, 2019.

In the aftermath of the Reasi terror attack, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the injured pilgrims, providing them with comfort and support. The attack, which occurred on Sunday, involved terrorists opening fire on a bus carrying pilgrims, resulting in the bus veering off the road and falling into a deep gorge. Tragically, nine lives were lost and 37 others were injured in the incident. Sinha revealed that the bus driver was specifically targeted by the terrorists. In response, the police, CRPF, and army have launched a hunt operation to apprehend the perpetrators. To support the victims' families, Sinha announced financial assistance of Rs 10 lakhs to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured.

The Bannu military cantonment in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, located over 330 km east of Islamabad, came under a severe attack early on Monday (July 15). The militant group Jaish Fursan-e-Muhammad, a faction of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) led by Hafiz Gul Bahadur, claimed responsibility for the attack. According to Pakistani state media, the incident began when the assailants attempted to breach the cantonment’s security perimeter with an explosive-laden vehicle.

The Shehbaz Sharif-led government in Pakistan has decided to ban the jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, the country's Information Minister announced on Monday. The PTI is Pakistan's largest opposition party.
