The funny and heartwarming video, filmed in the city of Pu’er in Yunnan Province on February 12, shows an elderly man sitting on the driver’s seat in a parked car with his hands on the steering wheel while his children shook tree branches and bamboo sticks next to the car to make the elderly man feel like he was driving along the road.

According to the elderly man’s daughter Ms Liu, her father always wanted to learn to drive a car.

But they are worried about their father’s safety and did not buy a car for him.

Liu and her siblings came up with the idea to shake tree branches next to their parked car to fulfil their father’s dream of driving.
