3 terrorists, a cop killed in two separate encounters in J&K’s Shopian, Budgam

Three terrorists and a policeman were killed in two separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam and Shopian.

In Shopian district, officials informed that three militants were killed by security forces.

Kashmir Zone Police said arms and ammunition were recovered from the encounter site.

In another encounter in J&K’s Budgam, a policeman lost his life in the gunbattle.

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Zanigam village in Budgam.

The search operation was launched following information about the presence of militants in the area.

Search operation turned into encounter after militants opened fire at security forces.
