‘Nominated MLAs can’t vote’: Puducherry CM confident ahead of trust vote

Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy held a meeting with party MLAs ahead of the crucial trust vote on Monday.

The Chief Minister said that the opposition has only 11 MLAs in the house since the nominated MLAs cannot vote in a trust vote.

He said that another meeting will be held on the 21st to further discuss the party’s strategy in the house.

Congress is facing a crisis after the recent resignations of four of it legislators.

New Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan ordered a floor test on Monday.
