Nana Patole row: We'll give Amitabh, Akshay protection, if Congress threatens them, says Athawale

After Congress leader Nana Patole threatened Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar saying shooting of their films would be stopped in Maharashtra, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale on February 19 said his party are with Akshay and Amitabh, and if Congress threatens to disturb their shoot, Republican Party of India (RPI) we'll give them protection.

He said, "Congress' Nana Patole's threat to Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan for not tweeting against fuel price hike by Centre is not okay.

My party is with them.

If Congress threatens to disturb their shoot, we'll give them protection."
