Covid: As govt plans to vaccinate common people from March 1, progress so far

As the Union government plans to begin inoculation of the elderly and those with co-morbidities from March 1, health secretary Rajesh Bhushan provided an update on the vaccination drive so far.

Over 1.17 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far, with 1.04 lakh being first doses, and 12 lakh being second.

He said that 21 crore tests have been conducted so far.
