PM-KISAN benefitted 11 crore farmers: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show in Coimbatore ahead of his rally in the city.

During the rally, PM Modi said that PM-KISAN scheme in its 2 years has benefitted 11 crore farmers.

"For many years, the farmers of India demanded MSP rise.

It was our government that had the opportunity to bring a holistic MSP rise," he added.

He further said, "In the past 7 years, our efforts for farmers are aimed at giving them a life of prosperity and dignity.

From kisan health cards to soil health cards, we want to bring a paradigm shift in the agriculture sector."
