2 arrested with elephant tusk in Odisha's Mayurbhanj

Two persons have been arrested in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district.

They were caught by police for possessing elephant tusk on February 26.

The forest officials recovered 8 pieces of elephant tusk weighing 44.9 kg from the possession of two persons.

While speaking to media, the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Baripada, Santosh Joshi said, "We have recovered 8 pieces of elephant tusk weighing 44.9 kg from the possession of two persons.

We have seized their bike.

Probe is on in this regard."
