'Was in state of shock,' says Aparna after PM Modi answered her question during Mann Ki Baat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his radio programme, Mann Ki Baat on February 28 had answered a question asked by Aparna Reddy, who hails from Mohali.

Expressing happiness over it, Aparna Reddy said, "I was at a wedding when someone called and told me that Modi ji had answered my question in Mann Ki Baat, I liked what he said.

I think earlier also he had mentioned somewhere in 2018 that he regrets not learning the ancient Tamil language."Aparna had asked, "You have been PM for so many years and were CM for so many years.

Do you ever feel that something is missing?" To which PM Modi replied that h considers not learning Tamil as one of his shortcomings.

"I pondered over this and told myself that one of my shortcomings was that I could not make much effort to learn Tamil, the oldest language in the world.

I could not get myself to learn Tamil," said PM Modi.
