2 killed during exchange of fire in Delhi's Nangloi

Two men were killed in a firing incident in Delhi's Nangloi area and one has been arrested in the matter.

Additional DCP of Outer Delhi, Sudhanshu Dhama, cited old business rivalry as the reason of the shootout.

"People, who were involved in the firing incident, were into meat business.

They had old business rivalry, in which one of the accused Mohd Ikram alias Arif, was released on parole in a murder case.

He fired on a man named Zakir in Nangloi police station area.

Following this, Zakir's companion Raees went to a nearby shop belonging to Saleem Qureshi and fired on him.

Raees also fired at Highway patrolling staff who retaliated and nabbed the accused.

Further investigation is underway," said Addtional DCP Sudhanshu Dhama.
