Anti-Pakistan protest in Germany against enforced disappearances in Balochistan
The Free Balochistan Movement Germany Branch held a protest in front of the Pakistani Consulate in Frankfurt.
The protesters shouted slogans against Pakistan and also held banners expressing solidarity with the families of the state victims of enforced disappearance in Balochistan.
A large number of people in Balochistan have gone missing who locals allege have been kidnapped by security agencies.
A majority of them are languishing in detention centres for years whereas some are extra-judicially killed and tortured.
Europe's strongest economy Germany has been stuck in a recession since last year. However, the 2024 Euros has also enticed fans who spend. But have the profits outweighed the costs of hosting the games?

The Bannu military cantonment in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, located over 330 km east of Islamabad, came under a severe attack early on Monday (July 15). The assault, reportedly led by several suicide bombers, resulted in a prolonged gunbattle with security forces. The militant group Jaish Fursan-e-Muhammad, a faction of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) led by Hafiz Gul Bahadur, claimed responsibility for the attack. According to Pakistani state media, the incident began when the assailants attempted to breach the cantonment’s security perimeter with an explosive-laden vehicle.

The Shehbaz Sharif-led government in Pakistan has decided to ban the jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, the country's Information Minister announced on Monday. The PTI is Pakistan's largest opposition party. Attaullah Tarar, the Pakistani Minister for Information and Broadcasting, announced in a press conference that the decision to ban the PTI was made due to alleged anti-state activities. The case will be referred to the Supreme Court, according to Pakistani media.
