DRDO conducts flight test of Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet Technology
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted flight test of Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet (SFDR) Technology from Integrated Test Range at Chandipur in Odisha on March 05.
All subsystems including the ground booster motor performed as per expectation.
India has successfully test-fired its long-range hypersonic missile, joining a select group of countries including Russia and China. The missile, launched by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on November 16, 2024, can reach speeds over Mach 5 (more than 6,174 km/h) and target both sea and land-based objectives. This achievement underscores India's growing stature as a global military power.
