Assam polls: BJP parliamentary board meeting to be held at 5pm

Ahead of Assam Assembly elections, BJP high command held a meeting at party president JP Nadda's residence on the morning of March 13.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Union Minister Jitendra Singh attended the meeting.

Talking about the meeting, Assam BJP chief Ranjeet Kumar Dass informed that there will be a meeting of BJP parliamentary board at 5 pm.

Ranjeet Kumar Dass said, "It was an informal meeting for the first phase of Assam elections, with Home Minister and BJP president.

There will be a meeting of the parliamentary board at 5 pm, in the presence of Prime Minister." Assam will go to polls starting from Mar 27 to April 06.
