A security worker climbed over a guardrail and a handrail to stop a toddler from falling down an escalator in central China.
The heroic video, filmed in the city of Wuhan in Hubei Province on March 10, shows a 1-year-old boy walking into a train station through a gate alone while his grandmother was pushing a stroller behind him.
The boy then walked towards an escalator and was about to step on it.
A security worker ran to climb over the guardrail and the escalator’s handrail quickly to carry the toddler away, preventing him from rolling down the escalator.
Thanks to the security worker’s quick action, the boy was not injured.
The boy’s parents arrived at the train station to thank the security worker and all other train station staff.
