RJDMLAs protest rising fuel prices at Bihar Assembly
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLAs on Thursday staged a protest at the state assembly against the rising fuel prices.
The protest was staged with the slogans like 'Petrol diesel k daam kam karo', 'Mehngai kam karo', 'Petroleum padarthon ke daam kam karo' and a board targeting Modi government with lines 'Bahut hui Janta par petrol-diesel ki maar, Lag gaya century hai behal petrol-diesel ka daam, daam boundary paar hai atma-nirbhar ki sarkar hai'.
"Prices of petroleum products are rising day by day and the government wants to increase it on a daily basis and make the country slave financially.
People like 'Adani' and 'Ambani' are given sectors of railways and airways.
East India Company came to India for business but slowly-slowly it made the country slave same as BJP came in the way and now is looting the country and targeting the farmers, household products have become expensive and creating problems for people," Bhai Virendra, RJD MLA said.
Earlier, Congress workers rode bicycle ride, bullock carts and house carts in Patna to protest against the increase in fuel prices.
Is RJD and the Lalu family prioritising vote bank politics over national interest? With a sharp increase in Muslim population in Bihar's Seemanchal region and Tejashwi Yadav's controversial remarks, questions about appeasement and its impact on national security arise. From calling temple visits 'mental bankruptcy' to offering water on Tazia, we delve into the implications of such actions and explore why attacks on Hindu festivals surge during RJD's political dominance in Bihar.

The previous Jharkhand Assembly elections were decided by a mix of socio-economic and political factors that resonated deeply with the state's voters. Key issues included tribal welfare, unemployment, rural development, and land rights, which became decisive in swaying public opinion.
The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance successfully leveraged its tribal connect and promises of inclusive governance, securing significant support from rural and marginalised communities. Meanwhile, the BJP's focus on development projects and infrastructure faced backlash from anti-incumbency sentiments and dissatisfaction over economic policies.
