59 COVID +ve students of Manipal Institute isolated, being treated: K'taka Health Minister
Karnataka Health Minister Dr Sudhakar K held an emergency meeting to oversee the preparedness of how to address the issues related second wave of coronavirus.
He met senior officials of health and medical education department and all the directors of concerned institutions of Bangalore.
He suggested that vaccination drive should be increased.
All individual institutions that are being supplied vaccines will be held accountable.
"59 students from Manipal Institute of Technology (in Manipal) have tested positive, Deputy Commissioner gone to the site and it's been declared a containment zone with all #COVID guidelines would be followed.
They all would be isolated, monitored, traced, and tested," said Dr Sudhakar K, Health Minister said.
