State-level volleyball tournament underway in Manipur
The state level volleyball tournament is underway at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium and Khuman Lampak Outdoor volleyball ground in Imphal.
The tournament is being held at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium and Khuman Lampak Outdoor volleyball ground for various categories- 19th Mini Boys and Girls State Level Volleyball Tournament 2020-2021, 19th Sub Junior State level Volleyball Tournament for boys and girls, 40th Junior Boys and Girls State Level Volley Ball Tournament and 3rd Youth and Senior State.
The tournament is being organized by the All Manipur Volleyball Association (AMVA), Imphal, which is affiliated with the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) and Manipur Olympic Association (MOA).
The Central government is deploying 90 additional Central Force companies to Manipur to address renewed violence in the state. CRPF Director-General Kuldeep Singh, who also serves as the Security Advisor in Manipur, announced the deployment. This decision reflects the escalating tensions in the region and the government's urgent efforts to restore order and maintain peace amid ongoing conflicts.
