Locals face inconvenience due to absence of bridge connecting Jorhat-Majuli in Assam

In Assam, due to the absence of a bridge, between Jorhat to Majuli, locals are facing connectivity issues.

Locals say that the absence of a bridge continues to cause them inconvenience.

However, Majuli is the constituency of state Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

Despite having the CM constituency, people are using ferry services to reach their destinations.

"We want a bridge, we face a lot of transport issues.

Sometimes people don't reach here on time and boats leave by the time people come," a local told ANI.

Meanwhile, the state is preparing for Assembly elections which start on March 27.
