Boris Johnson thanks nation on anniversary of first lockdown
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said the nation is “step by step, jab by jab” on the path to “reclaiming our freedoms”, as the UK marks one year since the first national lockdown.
Boris Johnson made a surprise appearance on the general election campaign trail on Tuesday night, telling a Tory rally: “We’re all here because we love our country.”
He repeated warnings of a Labour "supermajority" and said a vote for Reform UK would contribute to that majority.
