While addressing a press conference in Patna on March 23, the leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Tejashwi Yadav spoke after uproar in state Assembly over Bihar Special Armed Police Bill.
Yadav said, "We wanted to speak but we were thrashed.
This law means that search will be conducted without warrant and "any policemen can arrest if he believes something is wrong".
Bihar's Deputy CM claimed an aide of opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav was involved in alleged NEET paper leaks and irregularities. He said Tejashwi's former aide booked rooms for an engineer accused of leaking questions, alleging the RJD tries to influence appointments. In a significant development in the NEET UG exam controversy, six individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. The accused were taken from LNJP Hospital, Patna after their medical examination, following their arrest by Bihar Police in Jharkhand's Deoghar on June 21.
