CAA a central legislation, not a Bengal-based law: Gaurav Gogoi slams BJP
Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi on March 24 said that the response of Assam people was very good in support of the campaign against CAA led by the party.
He also mentioned that CAA is a central legislation, not a Bengal-based law after BJP mentioned it in their West Bengal's election manifesto, but skipped the same for Assam.
"We had launched anti-CAA protest by asking people to donate 'gamosa', while BJP is deceiving people.
In Bengal, their manifesto mentions CAA, but in Assam, it has no mention.
CAA is a central law, not a Bengal based law, Why BJP is using CAA in 1 and excluding in another byte," the Congress leader said.
