C1 3 uplifting stories............. we begin with a shout out to the george rogers clark lady hoops basketball team in winchester.

They have won the 10th regional tournament for 8 years straight & have won the regionals for 4 years straight.

You can catch game two of the tournament on monday, march 29th.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for seven dollars.

Tip off is at five thirty on monday at the g-r-c arena in winchester.

Next, meet da'mari.

He's a thirteen year old young man from winchester as well.

Take a look at this costume.

He created it all by himself using egg crates, felt material and a hot glue gun.

His mother said he's been asking to make his own costume for halloween for a couple of years now.

She said she couldn't believe he could pull it off.

She gave in, because of his pandemic bordum and brought him what he needed and he nailed it.

Baptist health lexington is celebrating a lot of doubles... c1 3 the hospital says so far this year...17 sets of twins have been born there.

Twins are more likely to be born premature and the hospital says several of the babies have been cared for in its neo-natal intensive care unit.

Whether you blame the pandemic or not...the hospital says overall births are up three percent compared to this time last year.

The cinncinnati zoo and botanical garden has a new baby to show off.

This cute owl..

Was born march 12th..

The zoo says its a verreaux's eagle owl...also known as milky eagle owl.

This is the largest owl in africa..

This baby girl has tripled its weight in just two weeks..something the team says is common in the species.

The bird team is using a bracket- style system to pick the chick's name... in honor of march maddness.

They voted on "ori"...which is the name of a video game that features owls..

And means "light" in hebrew.

The zoo says ori will be out for visitors c1 3 to see sometime this summer.

The easter bunny is coming to lexington a little early this year!

C1 3 re-kid is hosting visits today and tomorrow..all for a good cause.

The store is asking for a 5 dollar donation... to go toward the alano club of lexington.

Visits are today... from 11 am to 1... and tomorrow from 1 to 3 pm.

The only catch---you'll need to bring your own camera to take pictures.
