Another forest reserve falls victim to fire in Odisha

Days after the devastating fire that broke out in the wilds of Similipal Tiger Reserve (STR), another reserve forest, situated near the highway in Odisha's Mayurbhanj, was engulfed in fire.

The flames devoured hundreds of trees, and the current view of the forest is heart-wrenching.

An environmental activist has alleged that the forest was continuously burning from past two days but no action was taken by the forest officers and fire officials.

He claimed that more than 15 thousand trees have lost their existence due to the forest fire.
