Hamas, the Palestinian militant group, has expressed its readiness to enter into a ceasefire agreement in Gaza following Hezbollah's decision to lay down its arms and reach a ceasefire with Israel. The group, which has been engaged in ongoing hostilities with Israel, cited the ceasefire brokered by the US and France between Hezbollah and Israel as a key development signaling a shift toward peace efforts. Hamas conveyed to international mediators, including those from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, that it is prepared for serious negotiations, including a potential exchange of prisoners.
